Had an absolutely wonderful dinner when we were here. Came from out of town and treated ourselves. Our server was wonderful - I’m sorry i don’t remember her name but she had short let red hair. I would come back here again next time we visit Nelson. Also, the Mac and cheese was amazing! ** update: we came here about a year later and brought friends and it was fantastic. They loved it as well! A pricier meal but well worth it for a good steak dinner.

Went for my birthday dinner and did not disappoint. All the food from start to finish was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The Prime Shires yorkshire puddings were crisp on the outside and nice and soft on the interior, the prime rib was well seasoned and the au jus was almost a gravy consistency. The Ribeye (blackened) was cooked to perfection and well seasoned with a nice crust. I added the garlic prawns and they were very good as well making it a poor man's surf and turf, you do have an option to add lobster. I decided to try the Mac and Cheese and it was some of the best I've ever had I think there was a bit of lobster or crab in it which was a pleasant surprise and it came with garlic toast. To finish it all off I had the keylime pie which is not overly sweet but just right to let the lime have the spotlight, since it was for my birthday they did cover the cost of dessert which was great of them because I didn't ask for it to be covered so that was a nice surprise. Overall if you feel like splurging a bit for dinner you can't go wrong with Louie's, they have a great selection of food and drinks to fit every palate.

Amazing happy hour ! Delicious drinks amazing oysters and incredible service ! Chloe took such good care of us! Went above and beyond to make us feel special!Exceptional hospitality ! Also the DJ was playing a nice mix of really good music ! My mother loved her drink !

Dined solo at the bar, service as friendly as can be, rib eye cooked to perfection, mouthwatering delicious, and the chocolate mousse was a delightful dessert. The Tawny port flight was AMAZING, thanks Jackie! My favorite was the 40 yr. Fueled and ready to shred 🤙

Haven't had food this good in months maybe even years down in the states. Have had problems with cheap and expensive restaurants every time I dine out. Here two nights in a row were perfect and went above our expectations. 3 meals both nights, perfect quality, steak was done to our request, amazing taste, one of the best steaks I've ever had. Mashed potatoes, even though it's a simple dish, were amazing, also some of the best I've ever had easily topping all other places. Servers and who I suspect to be a manager or maybe even the owner were awesome, very friendly, didn't miss a single thing at all both nights. I'm not usually up for talking while eating, but both nights we had great conversations. Overall everything was amazing, not a single complaint, props to the small town steakhouse! Was not expecting such amazing service and food when we can't even get a decent meal in our big city!

I stayed at a hotel and dined at their exceptional Restaurant. The atmosphere is really good—clean, spacious, and with a vast selection of drinks. Starting with a creamy and delicious prawn dish, followed by delightful pasta and a great-tasting lobster tail, although the portions on the lobster were a bit small. Justine, our server, was incredibly friendly. The service was impressively fast. I definitely plan on returning.

We had an amazing dinner, everything we ordered was delicious. The service outstanding, the staff was super friendly and nice. So helpful as they gave us plenty of recommendations about Nelson. Would definitely come back! The mushroom risotto was so good!

Loved this place! Had an amazing server, food was great (took a little while cause they didn’t have many steak chefs on hand) but tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend!

I have never been to any restaurant in the area that could cook a steak properly the first time. I was a little worried when I saw the ribeye was on the thinner side. However, my concerns were quickly thrown away as this steak was a perfect medium rare. Our waitress, Alicia (I am sorry if I spelled it wrong), was very personable, and you can tell she genuinely enjoys her work there. She was knowledgeable about the menu, and the one thing she was unsure about, she had no problem going to ask someone else. We ordered multiple courses, with the intention of having left overs to bring home. The food quality was consistent across all 6 dishes ordered, and we were also given a complimentary bowl of "happy hour potato chips" before we even ordered. The food was delicious, the restaurant was clean, the courses were spaced out so the table wasn't cluttered with dishes, and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend!

Went to Louie’s Steakhouse for the first time and had a wonderful dinner. What a great first experience! Our server, Robyn was fantastic. She was very attentive and she was great at anticipating our needs. The crisps they bring out during happy hour are some of the best my husband and I have ever had (made in house). I ordered the ribeye with Oscar that came with mashed (garlic) potatoes and a nice variety of veggies. My husband had the filet mignon with Oscar and in his words, “tastes like butter”! We will definitely be back! Thank you for the lovely evening!
